One of my fondest memories as a business owner is having had my own tearoom as a part of my lovely shop. The Shoppe for Simple Pleasures and Scarlett's Tea Parlor offered all versions of the tea service......from a cup of freshly brewed custom-blended tea and a scone to full Afternoon Tea which was a complete meal. I have been researching the history of the boudoir cap, and I am fascinated by these adorable little accessories that were essential to the proper ladies' nighttime and early morning wardrobe.
