Spending time playing with the light today...making some photos in the soft afternoon sunlight as the lace-covered windows create an ethereal ambiance around me. The soft hues relax me...the crystal sparkles and dances with delight as I tiptoe on the lush ambusson rug under my feet, snapping shots as I move ever so gently.

While sipping my morning coffee earlier, I decided to look through some photos that go way back! When I launched Simple Pleasures decades ago, there were some categories that were especially successful……one was camisoles that could be worn as sleepwear but also for daywear alone or under a jacket or sweater. I am considering reintroducing these lovely, feminine pieces….. maybe in black and white. What are your thoughts? I absolutely love designing bed jackets! I think they are such a perfect topper for an elegant nightgown. I feel so special when I step out of a warm bubble bath and into a pretty ensemble comprised of a luscious nightgown and finished with an elegant bed jacket.
