I can hardly believe September has slipped away and we are in mid-October! The leaves are so beautiful and the soft breezes soothe my soul. There is a time and a season for everything,.....God planned it all so beautifully. I especially love my autumn tablescapes.
In the garden.......
I think of this every morning when I am in my backyard......one of my favorite hymns that I remember from childhood...... I come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses, And the voice I hear, falling on my ear, The Son of God discloses. Happy Mother's Day...........
This sweet lady was my #1 fan...my biggest cheerleader....my forever and ever encourager. She made sure I had something new to sew all the time.....my treat at the end of the week was a new sewing pattern and pretty fabric for my next project.....and this started when I was maybe 11 or 12 years old! I can hear her like it was yesterday: "Tina, as bull-headed and stubborn as you are, you can do anything you want to!" Mama Lottie was reminding me that the world was my oyster and the sky was the limit! Missing my precious Mama more...
