A lady just like me ...........

Tina Woodruff

I am drawn to this work of art because it reminds me of my personality......always busy with my hands........always deep in thought.  Aptly named  "A Stitch Is Free" by
John William Godward (1861-1922)

I am definitely very passionate about my work; actually, it is not "work" to me!  And I especially like to work with whatever I have on hand.....sometimes making "something out of nothing."  Old clothes, assessories, fabric scraps, even bits of string are never thrown away.....they may have a future as a new and useful creation!  (Yes, my "style" of decorating and organizing my home and studio falls into the "shabby-chic-a-bit-fussy-piles-of-projects-don't-you-dare-move-my-stuff" kind of category.)   I don't see it mentioned in Decor publications (!)  but it certainly works for me!  And you would feel very comfortable if you visited because my surroundings are quite pretty.....very "lived in" and cozy with an ecclectic mix of the old and the new, sprinkled with lots of sentimental memories and inspirations.
Now that I have revealed myself a bit much, it's on to a refreshing cup of tea and a little afternoon daydreaming if you please!  Please drop in and join me anytime!
